More about me...

To me “connecting the dots” means….
Creating a connection with the different sectors that interact with a project at the various stages through the creation of good design. When I think of connecting the dots I imagine architecture that brings together the architect, the business man, and the community to enjoy and activate a space.
When not at work you will find me…
Either being very lazy or very active. I might be sitting on my couch binge watching Netflix and eating junk food or I might be swimming at the pool, getting lost on some hike, or exploring the newest place to eat in Nashville.
I bet you didn’t know______ about me
My mom named me Yesenia because of a Mexican soap opera where the main character was a nice girl and she assumed naming me Yesenia that she would end up with a nice daughter.
My favorite place in Nashville is…
I am not sure yet what my favorite place is but I am fascinated seeing cowboys/cowgirls in the city. I thought those were only found in the backcountry.
The reason I wanted to become an Architect/Designer was…
My childhood home was never big enough and I got to watch my dad remodel it a dozen times. I always imagined helping him redesign the home in a smarter way. And my real first honest childhood answer was maybe to design my dream home with a slide that lands in a ball pit and because I assumed architects spent their days drawing pretty pictures.
