The reason I wanted to become an Architect was…

Growing up, my house flooded with 6 feet of water that destroyed everything it touched. We were beyond devastated with no idea how to prevent it from happening
again. Eventually, volunteers added structural support to our basement to prevent future flooding. Seeing how much design could help people inspired me to pursue architecture, and eventually urban design.
