M. was the first high-end restaurant investment in Cummins Stations’ retail mix. Because it was located on the building’s main lobby, the building owner was extraordinarily involved investing in lobby improvements as part of the renovation. SGS helped coordinate core building upgrades including a centralized grease pit shared by multiple tenants. Steel and glass windows and doors were salvaged during demolition and reused in the space, while new full-glass windows provided views to the black walnut bar focal point. A custom cherry wall tucked the bathrooms quietly behind the security desk, and a new stone floor at the lobby brightened the entry sequence.
